We seek ways to increase civil society organisations’ sustainability and impact through strengthening organisational capacity, ensuring the management of effective change processes and fostering productive relationships with a range of stakeholders.

CARE USA commissioned Mutengo Consulting to facilitate a workshop and fieldwork activities to design participatory tools and methods that could be used to analyse key decision points, risk factors and relationships in women’s lives that shape their ability to reduce their vulnerability to HIV transmission.

A toolkit was produced as a result of this process: River of risk – exploring women’s sexual relationships and decision making. Tools for the community.

Save the Children Sweden commissioned Mutengo Consulting to produce this desk study on The Political, Economic and Social Climate for Child Rights Organisations in Southern Africa to gain an understanding of the political, economic and social climate in which child rights organisations operate and the external opportunities and challenges facing them, including in their relationship with government structures, the donor community and other child rights organisations. The study focused on five countries in Southern Africa, including Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa, Swaziland and Zambia.
